CIMM invites digital video data warehouse proposals

US — The Coalition for Innovative Media Measurement (CIMM) is looking for tech companies to develop a warehouse for video content viewing data.

The proposal wants interested companies to design and maintain a data warehouse that allows participating video publishers to submit and access viewing data.

With a 15 July deadline, one of the main problems to be overcome is the lack of standard for how video providers implement analytics tags and the successful companies would work at “supporting the nomalisation and auditing of data across digital video publishers” and have it audited by the Media Relations Council.

“The rapid rise of digital video has exposed the need for more transparency into data across the entire media ecosystem for the buyers and sellers of media,” said Jane Clarke, CIMM managing director.
