Jon Watts

Managing Director

Jon Watts is Managing Director of CIMM, the Coalition for Innovative Media Measurement. He has 25 years of professional experience in media and advertising, in the US and internationally, working as an advisor and consultant to major media and technology enterprises, investors, policy makers and regulators.

At CIMM, Jon is leading a range of initiatives, including work on the future of cross-platform measurement, the transition to a multi-currency market, and the use of data across the TV ecosystem. Jon is also Executive Director at The Project X Institute and Editorial Director of Beet.TV’s events and industry retreats.

Prior to moving to the US from the UK, Jon founded and led MTM, an international research and strategy consultancy. He graduated from Cambridge University with a top first in Social and Political Science and has an MPhil in Social and Political Theory. Follow Jon Watts on LinkedIn.

Tameka Kee

SVP, Programming and Operations

Tameka Kee joined CIMM with nearly two decades of ad industry experience that spans events, marketing, communications, and content strategy across previous roles including: Head of Content Strategy at AdMonsters; VP, Content & Strategy at Wise Public Relations; and Director, Marketing and Content Strategy at The Rubicon Project (now Magnite).

She most recently led all marketing and advertising initiatives as Director of Marketing & Communications at Black Innovation Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to building a more inclusive and supportive ecosystem for Black entrepreneurs.

Earlier in her career, Kee founded TJK Media, a content marketing agency that developed campaigns and events for clients such as: eMarketer, Rubicon Project, Lotame, Fyber, Adcolony/Opera Mediaworks and TechMedia. Before launching TJK Media, she served as a reporter and analyst for industry trades like mediabistro, Digiday, and MediaPost.

Evan Cohen

SVP, Projects and Strategic Initiatives

Evan Cohen has worked as a strategy consultant, research professional, and startup operator across media and tech for over 30 years. Entering consumer tech in 1996, Evan served as SVP for Jupiter Research, where he was responsible for all quantitative research, and led its team of data research analysts.

In this role, Evan developed standardized methodologies for technology forecasting, led an early online ad tracking tool called AdSpend, and produced some of the first studies done on online consumer behavior. Later in his career, while living in Europe for 5+ years, Evan worked as a media and entertainment strategy consultant, helping incumbent entertainment companies such as Freemantle, Channel 4, ITV, NBC-U, and Viacom adapt to business model disruption.

Evan has also worked in the startup ecosystem for many years as an executive building and managing teams, and leading fundraising, operations, finance, marketing and strategic partnerships. As an operator, Evan has worked at Lyft to build its East Coast business, served as the COO/CFO of Foursquare (joining as the 6th full-time employee), and ran strategy and operations at Bebo, an early social network. He also ran an accelerator for early-stage startups at Human Ventures. Evan has a BA from Harvard University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Christian Torres

MEMbership and project coordinator

Christian Torres recently joined CIMM as its Membership and Project Coordinator. With a diverse background in client engagement, sales, and healthcare administration, he is a versatile professional dedicated to ensuring that members receive excellent service and our projects run
smoothly. 

He will be overseeing crucial aspects such as membership database management and project status supervision. His responsibilities extend to ensuring effective communication of project updates, nurturing prospects, and engaging existing members in CIMM’s diverse activities.

TAC is relaunching  as a new, high-profile industry Working Group within CIMM. 

The new Attention Working Group will have a program of meetings, specially commissioned research and events to showcase the latest insights and innovations in the attention industry.
